Principle of Controlled Atmosphere Storage Nitrogen Generators:

Controlled atmosphere storage nitrogen generators operate based on the pressure swing adsorption principle, using high-quality carbon molecular sieve as the adsorbent to produce nitrogen from air under certain pressure. Purified and dried compressed air undergoes pressurized adsorption and depressurized desorption in the adsorber. Due to aerodynamic effects, oxygen diffuses much faster than nitrogen in the micropores of the carbon molecular sieve. Oxygen is preferentially adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieve, while nitrogen is enriched in the gas phase to form product nitrogen. The cubic nitrogen generator then reduces the pressure to atmospheric levels, allowing the adsorbent to desorb adsorbed oxygen and other impurities for regeneration. Controlled atmosphere storage nitrogen generators typically have two adsorption towers in the system: one tower adsorbs to produce nitrogen, while the other undergoes desorption and regeneration. A PLC program controller controls the opening and closing of pneumatic valves, enabling the two towers to alternate cycles and achieve continuous production of high-purity nitrogen. The entire system consists of the following components: compressed air purification unit, air storage tank, oxygen-nitrogen separation device, and nitrogen buffer tank.
